Chinese Christians Taking A Stand Against Communist Government

According to The Blaze, the provincial Communist Party secretary in China reportedly bristled at being able to view many large, bright crosses during a recent trip along a major highway and ordered the removal of some of them. Local officials in the province of Zhejiang perhaps starting to feel the pressure from the Party, began a campaign in February to demolish any church buildings that violated local regulations, according to a government Web site. XU YANGJINGJING's article at The Washington Post reported that thousands of Chinese Christians have camped themselves in and around Sanjian Church in the eastern part of China to prevent the building from being demolished by officials who were angered by the refusal of members to remove crosses and several small spires on the rooftop.
One of the church leaders, who wished to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation, told The Washington Post, "Some top officials believe that there are too many crosses, too many churches," he said, "and in every county, they asked for a few crosses to be destroyed, not all of them."  Given the history of the Communist Party in its demonic inspired track record of oppressing Christianity, attempts to intimidate church members into removing the symbol that represents the place where Jesus liberated humanity from sin should come as no surprise to the believer who is firmly grounded in Christ. Dr. Fred C. Schwarz wrote:
"Communism is the literal fulfillment of Psalm 14: "The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God." The consequences are stated clearly: "They are corrupt: They have done abominable works; there is none that doeth good." The delusional doctrines of Karl Marx bear the same relationship to mass murder that the malarial parasite does to the disease of malaria. We must expose the errors of the basic doctrines of Marx if we wish to prevent the actions that result form the application of those doctrines."
